FASTER SERVICE, FASTER UPDATES - We have implemented a new shop management program, all equipment is logged into our system right after drop off and you will receive SMS text messages and/or emails with status updates etc.. Don’t worry - in-case the internet or computer goes down, we still have paper copies - we are still a bit old school :)
Rental Equipment - You asked. We Listened. We’re Doing It. Fed 2nd 2026 we will roll out our rental equipment list, policies, pricing etc…
Used Equipment for Sale - Jan 5th 2026 what used equipment we have will be posted under our “used equipment sales” page - we will be migrating slowly away from social media platforms for selling equipment and focusing on our website.
Over the Phone payments - Once again, you asked and we listened and now we’re doing it! ALL card transactions are ran as credit and the processor we use charges a flat 4% surcharge to use a card - don’t want to use a card? we will always accept cash and local checks.
Priority Repairs - Once again, 2025’s feedback and we will now as of Jan 5th 2026 offer Priority “Fast Lane” Repairs for ALL customers, now this is a paid service, the diagnostics and labor rate will naturally be higher than our standard rates, with priority service, you get next day parts and same day or next day repairs, this will be limited to how many we can do at once - details to come.
New Equipment - We currently don’t sell new equipment, but some have asked, and we will be in talks with a few manufacturers and hopefully if time and IF space constraints allow, offer new equipment - hint - it won’t be a big box store brand.
Parts Shipping Service - Live too far away from us? no worries! we will ship parts to you! there will be a fee based on the parcel size - more details to come mid January 2026.
Office Staff - We’re starting off 2026 with a part-time office manager - that way when things get busy in the spring, we can keep working and they’ll be no delays due to staffing.
Discounts - You Asked, We Listened and yes, we’re offering loyalty discounts - these will be for returning/loyal customers along with some new customer offers, this will be explained in the coming months :)

Welcome to Lugoff Power Equipment LLC. (also referred to as Lugoff Outdoor Power or simply LPE.
We began in 2024 and were formerly known as MCS Power Equipment.
We’re located at 35 Roseborough Rd in Lugoff, (we’re the Lugoff Dollar General’s neighbor.)
We are locally owned and operated and always will be a “mom & pop” style of small business.
We have been in this industry for many,many years and have one goal in mind - be the very best outdoor power equipment shop around.
We believe in going the extra mile for our customers (see a short story below) we always have and always will, this is to not only give back to the community, but to help out others as well. We do things way differently than any other shop will, we don’t believe in charging extra fee’s for cleaning equipment, we don’t believe in unnecessary repairs, while we may recommend certain things based on our experience we will never up-sell, or push a customer into extra’s or to buy some additive, we are straight forward and honest.
Below is a short summary of what we do.
Our team is made up of only a few people that are not only certified and highly trained with over 60 years combined experience in the outdoor power equipment industry including sales, service and repair.
We have a large inventory of parts on hand to fix almost any outdoor power equipment. From Blades to Belts, Spark Plugs & More - we got it all.
We specialize in the service & repair side, including but not limited to
Riding Mowers - Residential, Commercial & Zero Turn
Walk-Behind Mowers - Residential & Commercial
Handheld Equipment (Limitations Apply)
Generators, Pressure Washers & other Specialty Products.
At this Time, we DO NOT Work on Battery or Electric Equipment.

WE ALWAYS GO ABOVE AND BEYOND AND ALWAYS WILL!
September 24th, 2024 - Recently, a customer was referred to us by a major local big box store (Blue and starts with a Letter L) as we are an authorized dealer for all MTD Products/Craftsman outdoor equipment, this customer’s brand new rider with only 11 hours of run time on it, had significant damage caused by the store when it was delivered to him, the customer constantly complained to the store and they denied everything and told him warranty had to fix it, we contacted both the distributor and the manufacturer and they both denied warranty coverage due to the damage caused by the local store and their delivery personnel , so we then told the customer and that’s when we went above and beyond for this individual, we personally contacted the big box store’s customer service center and they reached out the local store, with no response it was time to pay an in-person visit to the store - we closed early loaded the customer’s equipment and headed to the local Big Blue Box Store store, we asked for the manager of the lawn & garden section and ultimately got the customer what they wanted and what was the right thing to do, the store exchanged the piece of equipment, admitted fault on the damaged unit, we then took the new unit to our shop for inspection and startup, the unit was low on oil and had a defective battery - all taken care of at no charge to our customer, that includes going out of our way to the local store, transportation from the store to our shop and to the customer’s home for final delivery. What other shop would do this - No one! We believe in going the extra mile and strive for 100% customer satisfaction and believe in always being kind to everyone, our customer is extremely satisfied and the local store learned a lesson - do wrong and we’ll show up and make things right - every-time! We believe in treating everyone like family, we take care of your equipment as if it were our own, we are welcoming to anyone, we are professional, kind & honest individuals that look forward to providing you with the best service possible.
